In accordance with Tarot, Clubs correlate to the suit of Wands, which surrounds matters of action, work, and often creativity or communication. The number three refers to expansion. Therefore, the Three of Clubs denotes the exciting next step towards action, following the more stagnant phases of potential and balance with the Ace and the Two.
