Wedding Save The Date Template, Square Outdoor Dining Scene

This piece is just one version of my dining scene illustration, as I love the simplicity of the black linework as much as the colorful version I created later. This design has a special place in my heart, as it taught me the beauty I’m capable of creating when I let my work be “unpolished, messy & true”, a phrase I’ve since come to live by. I’ve always enjoyed drawing, but didn’t give it much thought in college, maybe due to lacking inspiration to spend so much time creating something “perfect”. I am not one to seek out anything resembling perfection myself, so this illustration reminded me to give value to the living, breathing feeling of art. And that I can create art in the same windswept manner that I move through every area of my life. The square shape is intended to resemble a quick, scribbled sketch on a napkin when inspiration strikes in an ever fleeting moment. Love is living, messy, and windswept, so capturing it as such decentralizes perfection and allows it to be true.

4. Download and Print: Once you’ve finished, click “Share” in the top right corner, then download as a PDF. Print your template(s) at home or have them printed professionally. Ta-Da!
